Have been hering a lot about the korean village and wanted to go there for so long but my mother doesn't want to bring me there because it is quite far from my house . Finally her friend suggest to have lunch at there and I have the chance to follow them to the korean village .Is my first time trying korean bbq . The service is very good . The waiter will first serves you the side dishes and cold water . Then they will help you to put the charcoal and start to bbq in front of you . Yes it is infront of you . You doesn't have to move at all just sit there and wait for them to help you to cook the meat . After that , the waiter will help you to cut the meat into a small pieces and it is ready to serves . we only ordered chicken and pork because my mother's friend cannot eat beef . The meat was marinated nicely and I really love the taste. We also tried their kimchi soup . It is not that spicy as what I have expected . We also tried their seafood pancake . The seafood pancake is super delicious especially when you dip it into the special sauce !

I came here during lunch time when i was working in KL back then. Gosh, i really miss eating Korean food. I seldom eat Korean because my partner will say "How to eat Korea, i do not even know where to start, so many side dishes". So luckily for me, i had a wonderful experience with my colleagues. We came here as we heard here is famous for the bimbimbap ( is this how you spell it) and sadly we could not BBQ coz we only got an hour. Here is when i found out that some Korean restaurants actually serve steam eggs for side dishes and we ordered the famous beef soup with rice and it was so tasty and yummy. My colleague was WOW by the bimbimbap and everybody loves it so she ordered more rice and mix it together so we have more to eat but in the end our tummy was filled with rice. WHAT A BAD BAD IDEA! After the heavy meal, you will be served korean juicy watermelon and something that is so unique about this restaurant, not because the owner was a korean but it was the dessert. A cold rice barley drink dessert ( not the normal barley you drink, this is RUCE BARLEY and it was so good!

Korean food is gaining popularity around the world and with restaurants like Nak Won, in Ampang, it is not hard to see why. The food at Nak Won is made with great care and attention to taste. They are generous with the side dishes and the staff is so friendly it feels like eating dinner at home. The table literally over flows with delicious little plates. As long as you want more they will be bringing them with no extra charge. The BBQ is the main event at Nak Won. Even though most of their meats are frozen, I still find it to be good quality and very tasty. Try the marinated tenderloin, or the truly Korean favorite marinated pork rib.
